This is the third of five games between the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche. Colorado has won the first two games with a 3-2 score in both games.

NHL Team Stats & Key Players

Dallas Stars (15-11-5)

This game is the last of a 3 game road trip. Coming into this game, Dallas is 1-1 on their road trip and a record of 4-3-3 of their last 10 games. The Stars took a 3-1 loss to the Nashville Predators on Thursday, Saturday the Stars took a 2 point victory over the  Winnipeg Jets with a 6-4 win. In the victory against the Jets, defenseman Sergei Gonchar had 4 assists and Tyler Seguin had 2 assists and 2 goals. How they will they play without the forward Vernon Fiddler still being out with an upper body injury and defensemen Trevor Daley out with an ankle injury as well as Stephane Robidas out with an leg injury.

Colorado Avalanche (21-9-1)

The Avalanche have a record of 5-4-1 in their last 10 games. Colorado is tied in points with Minnesota in the central division. This game will be Colorado Avalanche chance to break that tie and get one step closer to St. Louis in points. Avalanche has a 10-5-1 home record which gives the idea they will win this game but they will be playing without defenseman Ryan Wilson tonight due to back injury. However, many players have stepped up this year.

Dallas Stars vs Colorado Avalanche Prediction

With one of Colorado key defensemen on the injury list for this game I would give the leverage to Dallas. However, my prediction is the Avalanche will win this game 2-1. So I will be betting 2 units on the moneyline with Colorado Avalanche.
