2013 Week 13 Preview of Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri. December 1st, 4:25pm ET on CBS. This game is a serious game for both teams as its a fight to be the AFC West division leader.

Coming into this game both teams lead the AFC West division with a 9-2 record. The Broncos 2 loses have come on the road while the Chiefs have lose one time both at home and on the road.

Kansas City Chiefs are on a 2 game losing steak coming into today’s game against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are coming off a close lost last week against New England.

The last time Denver Broncos played the Kansas City Chiefs was at home in Week 11. The Broncos came out on top with a 27-17 victory. Now today’s game is in Kansas City, it might be a different story.

NFL Team Stats & Key Players

Denver Broncos (9-2) is a passing team with Peyton Manning leading them. However, Manning has been off his game last week. It would be interesting to see him come back full force this game. Peyton is not the type of player to let one game get into his head. He will be the factor of a win or lost today against the Chiefs. That also means that his go to guys will have do their part when the ball is flying their way. An extra yard here, an extra yard there.

The Broncos defense will have to step up their efforts with defensive end Derek Wolfe out today in the hospital after experiencing seizure-like symptoms Friday. Will this be the factor to allow the Chiefs to run all over the Broncos defense? Who’s know it will be interesting to see how Denver defense handle this today.

Kansas City Chiefs (9-2) did the right thing this offseason when they picked up Alex Smith. He has proven to a great weapon for the Chiefs. However, compared to Peyton Manning, Alex Smith looks like a rookie. With the help of the rushing yards, I believe the Kansas City Chiefs can walk away with a victory today. Its just a matter of how bad they want revenge for the lost on the road against Denver in week 11. If Kansas City can reduce the amount of 3rd down conversions they allow this game, they can truly come out with the victory today.

Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs Prediction

My prediction is the game will be close throughout the whole game. However, the Chiefs will finish this game as the winners. I recommend going with the Kansas City Chiefs on the money line. I will be risking a unit on this game.
