Full Tilt Poker Software FAQ & Download Instructions

Full Tilt Poker has been back for a little while now and the traffic has been growing steadily since re-launching. The software has to be downloaded to your computer (Windows or Mac) before you’re allowed to play online poker at Full Tilt Poker.

• Downloading Full Tilt Poker on Windows

At the top left of the Full Tilt website there is a download link that you can click to install the software. The min requirements to download the Windows software are Windows XP, 64 MB of RAM, 30 MB of free disk space and a screen resolution of 800×600.

• Downloading Full Tilt Poker on Mac

The Full Tilt Poker Mac software is only compatible with Mac 10.4 or higher, 30 MB of disk space and 512 MB of RAM. Your Mac also has to be an Intel based Mac for the software to work properly. You can download the Mac software at the Full Tilt site.

Features on the Full Tilt Poker Software

Full Tilt can be downloaded for free from their website and it only takes a couple minutes to download. The first time you launch the software you’ll be required to open an account if you don’t have one before you can log-in to the poker room lobby.

• Full Tilt provides three poker lobbies with different designs, but you should use the standard view. When you use the standard view you’re allowed to use various lobby widgets that display your FTP’s and other helpful information.
• From the lobby there are advanced filter settings that can be adjusted. By changing the settings you can find the type of poker game/tournament you want to play at the exact stakes and limits that you want to play at.
• The cashier can be accessed from the Full Tilt Poker lobby in the top right corner. You can make deposits/withdrawals from the cashier plus you can also make transfers to other poker players or to your connected PokerStars account.
• When you’re sitting down at a table playing Full Tilt offers numerous options to make starting a new game easier. You can also utilize a one click deposit option in case you lose an all-in hand and need to make a new deposit.
• Full Tilt Poker has a great hand replayer that players can use to watch replays of the hands they’ve played. FTP tracks all hand histories that are played on real money tables and you can request your hand histories at anytime.
• The software has a “Ring Game Finder” tool as well that allows you to quickly search for a cash game based around the prerequisites that you select from the options. As soon as a seat opens up you’ll have the opportunity to play.
• Players can also customize their experience at Full Tilt Poker. Each player can choose their own 3D avatar at the table and you can also choose your preferred seat at table, which will allow you to sit in the same seat every game.
• Designated poker tables at Full Tilt will utilize the Run it Twice feature. If you’re sitting down at a Run it Twice table and you go all-in you can run it twice as long as you and your opponent both have the “Run it Twice” box checked.

At the moment there isn’t a mobile poker app available at the new Full Tilt Poker, but they did previously have a Rush Poker app and I’d expect it to be launched again. For the time being FTP is only available on Windows, Mac and Linux using an emulator.
